Theft prevention. Hi, I’m new to the forum and currently enroute to pick up my 2014 Kuga titanium X Sport. Knowing how easily they are being stolen and majority of keyless entry & start vehicles!! I’m curious what people are doing to prevent it.

My battery is brand new and the first start does seem a little slower first thing in the morning. It also proves the theory of the stop start system on the Kuga is a flawed system because even with a new battery it doesn't work every time. The time to be concerned is when it doesn't start at all which is why mine has a new battery.

Sorry I should clarify it did approx 400 miles since its last regen, prior to me taking it off to clean it a bit it was probably averaging 250-300 miles between regen's. Again IMHO the 150 bhp petrol is a horrible fuel hungry gutless piece of junk, The Kuga. is quite a heavy car that just suits a diesel and the torque that they provide.

Your next service will be April 2021 or 36000 miles whichever comes first, been a lot of confusion about services, Kuga was always 12500 miles or 12 months whichever was sooner but some builds of the Kuga were changed to 2 years or 18,000 miles ( mine included) Ronnie.
