Eventually, we could see all the God of War games on the PS5, but I do not think the older series is as important to play through now to catch up to Ragnarok. Most of the references to older GOW titles are from the third mainline game, which is on PS4 via remaster. God of War 1 and 2 were on the PS2, and remastered by Bluepoint for PS3 and Vita.
